Visit Little India. Walk along  Serangoon Road and the adjacent roads. If you are into photography, the vegetables stalls and flower shops are colorful and pretty sights. If you are there on Sunday, buy a carton of beer or toddy (coconut liquor) and share it with Indian workers sitting around the open field on their offdays. After that tell them your block number and make sure they lay the pipes neatly when doing the road works outside your house.
